Ike Swetlitz

Ike Swetlitz is a former Washington correspondent, who reported at the intersection of life science and national politics. He interviewed President Trump’s doctor, traveled to West Africa to write about genetically engineered mosquitos, and led coverage of EpiPen pricing. Ike has an undergraduate degree in physics from Yale and came to STAT from The Medill Justice Project, an investigative journalism center at Northwestern University. He enjoys poetry, folk music, and cooking with obscure spices.
