About STAT
STAT is a health and medicine oriented news website launched in 2015, by John W. Henry, the owner of The Boston Globe. It is produced by Boston Globe Media and is headquartered in the Globe’s own building in Boston.
Many of our articles are free, and you are able to sign up for a whole suite of free STAT newsletters. To unlock premium articles, newsletters, subscriber only events, and other benefits, sign up for our paid subscription option, STAT+.

STAT+ Connect is a subscriber only platform for the health and life sciences community that is included as part of your STAT+ Subscription. Once subscribed to STAT+, you can access the platform on desktop at connect.statnews.com or mobile via iPhone or Android by clicking the ‘sign in with STAT+’ button and signing in using your STAT+ credentials.

You are able to access STAT+ content immediately after you subscribe.
Click “Forgot Password” at the login page here. You will receive an email from us with instructions about how to reset your password. Be sure to check your spam folder in case it ends up there.
You can also reset your password through your “My Account” page.
It is possible you created your account through a social login (Facebook, LinkedIn, or Google.) If so, you will not receive a password reset email, as your login is the credentials from that site. You must change your password directly in those services if you wish to change your STAT+ login. So, try logging in with a social login option.
Additionally, if you do not receive a password reset email, it is possible that you have not actually created an account yet. Visit www.statnews.com/subscribe to get started.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Log into your subscription and visit your My Account page. You can also find that cancelation link here.
Once you cancel, you’ll have continued access to the subscription through the end of your monthly or annual subscription term.
We do not issue prorated refunds.
You can restart your subscription here. You will be able to log in using your existing account information, and from there select your new subscription plan.
Your STAT+ subscription includes subscriber-only newsletters that get delivered to your inbox, and many of our subscribers also sign up for our free newsletters.
If you end up getting too many emails from us, you can visit your “My Account” page to manage your newsletter preferences. You can also let us know by emailing [email protected] and we’ll assist you.
Subscription Options
STAT+ costs $399 for the full year or $39 on a month-to-month basis. Your card will be automatically charged based on the plan you choose when you subscribe.
Our price covers the cost of daily coverage, STAT+ newsletters, free access to exclusive subscriber only virtual events, discounts to STAT events and summits, and additional benefits. For more information about STAT+ benefits, please visit https://www.statnews.com/stat-plus.

A group subscription term grants access to STAT+ for one year and by default renews automatically. Group subscriptions are billed annually as one invoice and can be paid via credit card, check or ACH/Wire payment. Email [email protected] if you need assistance.

Billing & Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club.
You can update your payment information from your My Account page.
Login at www.statnews.com/login and visit your billing history page to view and download your receipts. Other than when you first subscribe and pay, we do not email you your receipts.
At this time, we are unable to accept payment by check for individual STAT+ subscriptions. For larger group subscriptions, we are able to accept check payment. Please contact [email protected] with any additional questions.
Discount codes are only available for our yearly subscription plans and are case sensitive. Please select the yearly plan option, and once you do the promotion code field will appear at the bottom of the page at checkout.
In the event that you decide to cancel your annual subscription within the first 30 days of your subscription or within 30 days after any subsequent renewal, you will receive a full refund of any fees paid for that term. Per our terms of service, we do not issue prorated refunds.
